Meet Henry

Henry grew-up in a working class family in Saskatoon. He was educated at St. Bernard, Holy Cross, and the University of Saskatchewan, where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce in finance and diploma in Global Studies.

Over the last five years, Henry has served on the board of several non-profit organizations that advocate for human rights and free democratic societies. On multiple occasions, he was invited to testify before Parliament to give policy recommendations on ways to combat foreign interference and strengthen Canada’s democratic foundation.

Before running for office, Henry worked in finance, as a Notary Public, and as a Parliamentary Assistant on Parliament Hill for a Member of Parliament.

In 2023, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in recognition of his activism and volunteer work.

Hard work and thrift & commitments to democracy

“If you want something, you work hard to get it” - Henry

Holding down 3 jobs whilst studying, Henry graduated among the top of his class in finance. Henry gave up the promising prospect in finance to work for a Member of Parliament believing that something needs to be done to safeguard our democracy.

Foreign interference, the growing power of authoritarian states, and complacency at home led Henry to be interested in politics.

“With growing sentiment of disenchantment and disengagement in politics, for me running for office is a chance to talk to people and build grassroots connections to engage with people. Our democracy requires people to engage and I want to bring hope to everyone that there are still good people who are willing to listen.”  - Henry

Sharp, acute, and strong voice

Henry takes no prisoners when it comes to standing up for what’s right. Making sure that his acute and critical voice is heard, he is often featured in various publications, radio, and television. Always ready to speak truth to power.
